One week down and I've got the tickets ready and waiting. Thats about 26 hours of flights and transit with an Australian carrier that has recently been a regular star of those 6pm shows .
At least in this case the passengers got comp'ed accomodation for a night. But fate, habitually waggling its hairy arse at me, would make sure that the problems happen when I'm in transit through Singapore - this is something I'll talk about once I'm back on Australian soil and cradling my Australian passport.
Anxieties aside, I'm still pumped and ready for the trip. I'm male (last time I checked) so I travel light. But I do want to make the most of the 20kg that came with my surprisingly priced tickets. Twenty kilos might be just enough to smuggle a midget on but that leaves me with no space for anything else. Them I'm stuck hoping my midget's going to just ride off on a sniffer dog... I had to go there and at the very least I know that I've made one person smile from writing that.
I'm running out of space so I'll do some housekeeping. There will be daily updates from Germany and until then I'll be doing a weekly count-down.
Also, just so everybody knows, these are links. They take you places... well not that one. But this one does.
